Bricchi de mâ is territory. We talk about Tigullio, enclosed between Portofino and the Cinque Terre National Park, in the Ligurian East. Spread between the sea and the Apennines, its historical-cultural and environmental heritage makes it an open-air park museum, to be discovered in every season.

Bricchi de mâ is an eco-museum. Thanks to the maintenance, memories, knowledge and participation of scholars, experts and local communities, we collect narratives, photographic archives, educational material, trekking or cycling itineraries, responsible and outdoor tourism initiatives and experiences in a continuously updated catalogue.

Bricchi de mâ is digital. The web portal, the App for mobile devices and the booking system for local experiences are the tools we offer to explore a heritage, material and immaterial, which gives shape to an ancient and delicate landscape.

Cultural and natural heritage

Terraced slopes, centuries-old road networks, migratory histories, evidence of ancient mining activity, olive groves and vineyards, geosites of scientific interest are some of the features that characterize the Tigullio landscape, founded on an ancient and delicate balance between man and nature. Telling the story of this material and immaterial heritage, largely neglected by modernity, today represents our most precious resource for building community and encouraging forms of sustainable tourism.

Trekking and Hiking

Walking among the crêuze and paths of the Ligurian Tigullio is an open-air experience, which offers you the opportunity to come into direct contact with nature, but also to immerse yourself in historical and artistic testimonies and breathtaking views between sea and mountains .

Mountain bike and e-bike

From routes also suitable for families to challenging Apennine climbs, among Mediterranean scrub, perched villages and internal beech forests, the itineraries for exploring the Tigullio by bicycle, mountain bike or electric bike are many and cross a truly varied landscape.

Tigullio is not Disneyland, but a living landscape – beautiful and fragile – made of things and people who are committed to maintaining and guarding it. From time to time, your progress may be hindered by thick vegetation, branches, landslides, etc. Don’t get annoyed. How to reach us

All routes lead to Tigullio. The Ligurian promontory can be reached as a destination for beautiful trekking and cycling routes which, crossing the Apennines, lead from the Po Valley to the sea. The gulf also offers tourist ports in Chiavari, Lavagna and Sestri Levante. The railway lines, the motorway and the Genoa airport represent a convenient and effective solution for mobility.
