Dino Berisso, partisan!
“I have a particular memory for a friend, Dino Berisso, who was a few years older than me. The last time I saw him, I remember that we were sitting together on a wall in the square of San Bartolomeo in Cogorno.
After a few days he took the road to the mountains and was a partisan with the battle name “Sergio” in the Bisagno brigade. Captured in Fontanabuona he was shot in retaliation in Calvari in March 1945. He was seventeen years old.
I have always felt a pang in my heart when I looked at that place where we sat together talking for the last time I saw it, and right at that point, on the pillar of the roof of the square adjacent to the wall, a plaque was placed and still is there today. of marble that gives the street its name“.
