Church of San Pietro Apostolo
The Church of San Pietro Apostolo, located in the town of Barassi, has ancient origins and was initially dedicated to Sant’Eufemiano, as confirmed by a papal bull of Pope Innocent VIII. The precise year of its construction is unknown, but it is known that it was built under the patronage of the Olivetan Fathers of Quarto. Initially part of the Diocese of Genoa, then passed to Brugnato and currently part of Chiavari, the church has three altars inside: the main altar is dedicated to Saint Peter, while the lateral ones are dedicated respectively to the Madonna del Rosario and the Blessed Sacrament Crucifix.
